Hi, is Ace an outside dog? Thanks.
Keep in mind that Muslims not only fear dogs but have a hatred towards them. As more and more Muslims are beginning to enjoy hiking and even getting jobs in in the forestry, try to avoid paths with them. In one season, my little 15 pound dog had 6 Muslims outraged just for being at a park. One Muslim park employee even called the police, the police was more annoyed at a false call then anything. But still respect their religious beliefs concerning dogs and give Muslims a wide path.
We use to have a german sheperd, it was ex police so it was very protective, long story short, it bit the boy next door who i was outside with
This video was from1/26/2010 – Ace has come a long way in his training since then. Check out some of our newer Canine videos, either on you tube or the equip2endure website, and see Ace in action. Believe me, I can’t wait for Ace and I to go hiking again. Thanks for watching!

We do have several Canine videos where you can see the Dogs interact with my 3 girls and Robby, the trainer. Take a look either on you tube or the equip2endure website (type in canine). It’s all about the training.

Hey maybe you covered this in a previous video, but I am wondering how you socialized your dog/making him friendly to people. i’d love a german shepherd, but am afraid that it might cause harm if it does bite people. i know that if trained properly then that shouldn’t be a big concern, so would like to know what you did.
What dog should I get for hiking and camping and how to train him?

Yes, the dog’s commands are in German. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. FYI – we do having K9 videos at our E2E website, and information from our Team Member Robert Oliver who oversee the K9 section. You can always Email Robbie also.

First of all – Lucky Pup there, glad he has a good home. Training is key and that’s great that you are looking into doing it properly. I am going to shoot an email to Robert Oliver of our K9 Section for advice.

I found a GS pup on the freeway last weekend,. I have been thinking about getting a GS for awhile now. I want to train him well. I am pretty good at the basics, but I want to step it up. any specific video suggestions or books?
Two questions, are your dog commands german? Also, I have a 1 year old half American Pitbull Terrier/ half cattle dog, she is extremely well behaved and follows sit, down, and stay commands but for the life of me I cant get her to stop jumping on people, any suggestions? Enjoy all your videos btw!
this is just my personal opinion. please please never do that to any dog it changes there personality and u will never get them back too 100% them. its sad and wrong.and as a male its just soooooooo wrong wrong wrong . imagine it

Adam great videos love to see guys working their dogs schutzhund or otherwise…In response to bosleybeebop not to say you dont have a great dog but I can tell from Ace’s coloration especially that he probably is from german working bloodlines making his prey drive and willingness to work much higher then your normal pet GSD. Your best bet would be to seek professional help and maybe look into your GSD’s pedigree see if he is from a working bloodline or not…Great looking dog adam
