Dave with Pointer Supply demonstrates one of the many great training techniques learned from the George Hickox Training Pointing Dogs DVD series volumes 1-4. An outdoor retrieving corridor constructed of steel posts and plastic snow fence creates a controlled evironment so that the pup’s only option is to bring the dummy or bird back to you. The goal is to communicate to the pup what you want with the least amount of pressure. The fence creates a funnel back to you, and is more productive than reeling the pup in on a check cord.
